1. Language-Linguistics(Abstract Noun) a supporting verb used with a main verb to show the tense of a sentence and to help forming questions and negatives,e.g. 'is' in s/he is sleeping, is s/he sleeping?, s/he is not sleeping. কোনো কোনো ভাষাত মুল ক্ৰিয়াপদৰ সহায়ক ৰূপে ব্যৱহাৰ হৈ বাক্যৰ কাল দেখুওৱা, প্ৰশ্ন কৰা বা নঞাৰ্থক বাক্য সৃষ্টি কৰাত সহায় কৰা সহায়কাৰী ক্ৰিয়াপদ৷
